Two ways to pay, no surprises
One-off clear-out or an ongoing build — either way, you know the number before the truck turns up. No weighbridge dockets, no “we’ll invoice you after.”
Fixed-price quote
Best for a one-off clear-out where you just want the pile gone and a number you can trust in advance.
- Send photos of the pile and your address
- We quote a fixed price to clear it all
- That’s the price — no surprises on the day
Per-load price
Best when the build’s ongoing and waste keeps piling up — same flat rate, every time, labour included.
- One flat rate, whatever’s on the truck
- Loading labour included, every time
- Book each load as the site needs it
What our truck actually carries
We drive a 2016 Toyota Dyna with a 4.35m deck — here’s exactly what fits, in real numbers.
- Vehicle2016 Toyota Dyna
- Deck length4,350 mm
- Deck width1,900 mm
- Side rail height350 mm
- Typical load height above rail+250 mm
- Effective load volume≈ 5.0 m³
- Typical capacity~8 pallets + mixed offcuts
Why one load matches a 9m³ skip
On paper, ~5m³ is smaller than a 9m³ skip. In practice, one load regularly clears the same building-site pile. Two reasons why.
Bulky timber wastes space, not just weight
Nobody on site has time to cut long timber and pallets down to save space — and that’s fair, it’s not a reasonable use of labour. So both a skip bin and our truck end up “full” at the same point: not when the weight limit’s hit, but when the air gaps between whole pallets and long offcuts run out. Our deck typically takes about 8-9 used pallets plus mixed framing of different lengths and subfloor offcuts — roughly what a 9m³ skip holds once it’s loaded the same uncut way.
Skip bins can’t take the heavy stuff anyway
Most Auckland 9m³ general waste bins cap out around 1,300–1,700kg, with overage fees of roughly $15–30+GST per 100kg over — and several suppliers ban bricks, concrete and soil from the general bin entirely. So that “9m³” is really only usable for lighter waste: plastic, gib board, foam offcuts. We take the bricks, blocks and concrete on the truck with no weight penalty, which is capacity a skip bin was never going to give you anyway.
| Skip bin | Our per-load price | |
|---|---|---|
| Bin hire, ~9m³ | $400+GST | — |
| Loading labour | $150–200+GST | Included |
| Total, one load | ≈ $600+GST | $285+GST |
Same pile gone. Roughly half the cost.
A skip bin plus the hours it takes your crew to load it comes to around $600+GST for a typical 9m³ load. Our per-load price is $285+GST, labour included — for the same timber, and without the bricks and concrete blowing out a weight limit you didn’t know you had.
